COVID-19: Vaccines, Testing and Compensation Programs
Description
by Mark Frierson (Author)
Over 450,000 Americans have died due to COVID-19 and the deaths continue to climb. We need to be making continuous improvements that will stop this virus. Chapter 1 examines ways to further expand testing, the use of therapeutics, and increasing vaccine confidence while prioritizing quick and efficient distribution of the vaccines. More than 200 million Americans have received one or more doses of a Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine, along with billions of people worldwide. A very small percentage of inoculated individuals experience serious adverse reactions to a COVID-19 vaccine. Chapter 2 reviews the compensation programs available if a serious reaction does occur.
