Firstly, this book proposes a P-radius based set-membership estimation method to compute a zonotopecontaining the real states of a system, which are consistent with the disturbances and the measurement noise. Secondly, this book deals with the problem of output feedback control. Among the approaches from the literature, the implementation of robust predictive techniques based on tubes of trajectories is developed. The zonotopic set-membership estimation improves the quality of the estimation, as well as the performance of the control, for systems subject to unknown, but bounded disturbances and measurement noise.
